What AWS can do with JavaScript
  • Validate your online forms for accurate information
  • Visual web page (HTML) editors on your website
  • Tools such as "Bookmark Page" and "Make Us Your Homepage" scripts
  • Visual enhancements: rollover buttons, fade effects, and more
  • Date and time display and manipulation
  • and more!

AWS has extensive experience in JavaScript programming. From simple form validations to extensive JavaScript applications which show and hide text on your site or create interactive images like sample color palettes, we can enhance your site with the tools it needs, at no cost to your server bandwidth. This is because of JavaScript's status as a client-side scripting language. This means that all the work is done on the visitor's computer and not the computer hosting the website.

AWS Knowledge Base Information
Details on JavaScript

Client-Side Client-side means that the workload of interpreting a scripting language is all on the web surfer's computer and not on the servers hosting the website. JavaScript is one such language. The library used to read the language is contained within a browser's structure, so each browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, or Opera, for instance) will interpret JavaScript a little differently.
